Leasepoint, the leading aircraft leasing asset and contract management platform, is pleased to announce that Aircastle Limited, a top global aircraft lessor, has successfully implemented the new Leasepoint–Aerflow Utilisation Integration.
This milestone project, the first of its kind in the industry, automates the capture and management of aircraft utilisation data, driving new levels of efficiency, accuracy, and actionable intelligence.
Currently with over 270 aircraft and a growing fleet, Aircastle sought to replace outdated manual data entry workflows with an intelligent, automated solution.
“For years I wished we could stop spending time typing in numbers and start using data intelligently,” said Howard Brewer, SVP, Technical & Contract Operations at Aircastle. “This project has made that a reality.”
Previously, Aircastle’s utilisation reporting process involved extracting figures from emailed PDF or Excel reports and manually re-entering them into Leasepoint, a time-consuming, error-prone process potentially leading to invoicing delays.
The new integration, developed collaboratively between Leasepoint and Aerflow, now automates this entire process, importing data directly into Leasepoint. The partnership has replaced manual entry with streamlined automation, while adding intelligence through Aerflow’s dashboards, which compare airline-reported data with satellite-sourced utilisation information.
In less than 12 months, the system moved from concept to live implementation, with minimal training and rapid adoption by Aircastle’s operations team.
“We’ve saved weeks of analyst time every month,” Howard added. “That’s time our team can now spend on analysis and decision-making, not data entry.”
This new integration delivered measurable gains within weeks of go-live:
• Automation & Accuracy: Utilisation reports now flow directly into Leasepoint, eliminating errors and delays.
• Time Savings: Two weeks of analyst time saved per month, enabling staff to focus on higher-value analysis.
• Operational Efficiency: Faster, more accurate invoicing improves cash flow and reduces disputes.
• Enhanced Insights: Dashboards enable side-by-side comparisons of airline-reported versus satellite-sourced data, with exception reporting for anomalies.
• User Adoption: Retains familiar report formats while introducing intuitive, modern dashboards.
The integration also introduces real-time exception reporting, visual dashboards, and enhanced control measures—giving Aircastle’s teams immediate insight into aircraft performance and utilisation trends.
This project establishes Leasepoint as the platform of choice for next generation leasing operations, enabling customers to unlock efficiency, improve data quality, and respond quickly to industry challenges.
“Aircastle’s success demonstrates how Leasepoint can evolve from a data repository into a true intelligence platform,” said Rachel Wesson, Managing Director at Leasepoint. “By working with Aerflow, we’ve delivered a seamless integration that not only saves time but also transforms how lessors use their data. This is a model for the industry going forward.”
According to Karl Scanlon, CEO of Aerflow, the collaboration showcases what’s possible when lessors, technology providers, and asset managers work together:
“Every lessor faces this challenge. For years, the industry has worked around it. Aircastle chose to solve it and that makes this integration a real benchmark for aviation data management.”
Following the success of this initial phase, Aircastle is exploring additional automation layers—from exception-based alerts to deeper integration with its technical records systems.
“This is only the beginning,” Howard said. “Automation is helping us improve quality, accuracy, and insight. It’s changing how our people work and how the industry will work in the future.”
Leasepoint is a leading provider of aircraft asset and contract management solutions, designed specifically for the aviation leasing industry. Trusted by some of the world’s most innovative lessors, Leasepoint provides functionality-rich applications, workflow automation, and real-time portfolio insights. The platform enables lessors to scale efficiently, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation across their businesses.
Aerflow streamlines data transfers across Lessors’ operations, replacing manual, fragmented processes with smart, standardized flows in three core areas: Utilisation, Records, and Configuration.
